Just a different cut. The Beatle Buster was discontinued, much to my chagrin, a few years ago. The Mega BB was made for a competition I believe.

Noob here so bare with me... I am wearing 666 cut. Tag size 32 in all the 21oz ones and want to get the IH-666-XHS however the sizing difference in measurements and shrinking kinda scares me. According to the description you loose 1 inch on the waist and inseam but waist screeches back. I am guessing that 1 inch shrinking is on everywhere not only waist and inseam. So sizes I should be considering on IH-666-XHS?

@aliengin I have looked at your order history with us, and I see you have two pairs of 666s from us. I am going to work on the basis that you are talking about the IH-666S-21, and that you are happy with how they fit you. If either of those assumptions is wrong, let me know and we can tweak the logic.

Your IH-666S-21 had an actual waist of 32.5" when they shipped to you. They are likely to have stretched to 33.5" with wear now (though you can of course confirm this by measuring them the IH way).

With that in mind, if I were you I would be looking to purchase a tag 32 IH-666-XHS, and to ask the team when placing your order to look for a pair with an actual waist of as close to 33.5" as possible so that once you soak and wash them, they will have shrunk to about 32.5". Then with wear they should stretch back out to 33.5" and fit like your current IH-666S-21.

This was my first IH purchase. You’ll love them.

Soaked mine in hot tap water, around 50°C. Washed it on a short and slow spin cycle, now it's drip drying. Maybe it'll be dry tomorrow morning!

It dried okay last night, and only have a few wet spots on the waist and the pockets this eveneing.
I just put them on. They didn't shrink too much, after a couple of attempts, I was able to close the top button.
Looks like a half decent fit!

Looks good to me. My shrink/stretch experience on these was negligible as well.

If I decide to get them hemmed, that'll be later on, once the creases have settled.
Put the additional label in Japanese through Google Lens, even Haraki recommends 1-2 washes before getting them hemmed.

As far as cuts go, I can pull off the 666/777/634. Tried on both the 888/555 - the high rise is not for me.

Funny thing - in one of my older posts, I have written somewhere on here that I wouldn't tackle the task of breaking in a pair of 25oz after putting my hands on them at IH Hamburg. After the first wash, and rolling around the sofa for the last two hours, they're already getting comfy. Wouldn't have expected that!

I'm generally a 666 man, but went for a pair of these XHS in 634. Love the wide lower leg, but I'm swimming in the top block, big flare at the hips. Might be back to the devil for my skinny ass.
