WARNING: There are scammers exploiting the WTB thread

I know other forums have a certain number of posts  you need to have before you can even see the marketplace. Wouldnt that be an easy way to get rid of those fuckers? Just make it 10-20 posts or something like that…  easy to reach for real people who are willing to sell/buy but not for scammers/robots...?

Possible.  We used to have something like that.  But it then means that people who only view the forum for stuff to buy, would have to post some posts, and when we did it before, we got aresholes posted 10 or 20 shite posts….

Here's another one, username jaydeencox (who is apparently a famous freestyle wrestler  ! ).

I asked for photos with a measuring tape, and got photos from the IH site instead. At this point, I can pretty much conclude it's a waste of time to post anything in the WTB thread since all you get are these scammers, unfortunately.

Why no rules about asking for payment by PayPal friends and family? This seems to be the default choice and makes it easy for scammers.

We provide the platform, it is up to buyers and sellers to do their own due diligence. If this was commercial and we took a percentage or charged fee's then we would make all sorts of rules up.
