i think abington is a sub brand of timberland.  no?

if youre looking for a tough rugged boot with a similar look that is also made in the USA check out the Thorogood Heritage line.

I have a pair of Abington's, they are a sub brand of Timberland as Riffblaster G said and to be fair they are nice boots, but not at the same quality level as say RW's. They're built in China as well which sort of bugs me, as always you get what you pay for.

Have the same pair of Abington Hiker as Simon (saw yours in the keeper pic Simon), I like the look and feel and they are not bad built if you ignore the Made in China. However I would not pay retail on them, with a bit of research you should be able to get good deal.

anybody living in cold climates have any advice/pointers for getting rid of ice dams on your gutters?

i'm trying a full on mr. wizard science project right now where you fill panty hose with calcium chloride and put it on the ice so it slowly melts through and creates a channel for water to flow.

This may have already been addressed, but I will ask anyway.  Do the thigh measurments for on the bottoms sizing charts reflect the updated measuring method?  specifically thigh measurement for 634SB
