Hi, I been looking to a pair of levis 501 black polishes. I dont have experience with black denim, does black denim stretchs less than regular denim?  do they fade as well?

        cheers

Question:  What is the best way to hang selvage jeans after wearing them?

I currently have 4 pairs of selvage jeans that I rotate through, wearing one then folding them in half, then I put the one I wore on the bottom of the pile, then start rotation again.

I am concerned that I will get a wear mark where I keep folding them and am curious if this is the best way to store them and am curious how others are hanging, placing, or are you just throwing in a corner when they are not being worn.

i hang my up on butchers hooks by the belt loops. i worried it would stretch or ruin the belt loops but i've been doing it for year and they seem fine.

                same here

folding certainly could leave noticeable marks if you always fold the same way

most of them are just in the wardrobe for me [hook from the bar]. the one i wear everyday is hooked from a top draw next to my bed.

Question: do these seem like a nice boot? i'm admittedly a sneaker wearer the majority of the time but these boots just seem really nice to me, i was just wondering if it was worth the price

I have a pair of Abington's, they are a sub brand of Timberland as Riffblaster G said and to be fair they are nice boots, but not at the same quality level as say RW's. They're built in China as well which sort of bugs me, as always you get what you pay for.

Have the same pair of Abington Hiker as Simon (saw yours in the keeper pic Simon), I like the look and feel and they are not bad built if you ignore the Made in China. However I would not pay retail on them, with a bit of research you should be able to get good deal.

does wearing your jeans while shovelling snow and having them completely soaked all the way through constitute a cold soak?  if so then my 634s have been cold soaked 4 times this week.  rad.
