I just threw mine straight into the machine inside out, no worries. Cold wash, 1000RPM spin dry. Now I suggest following IH's advise, not mine, but am saying that they can handle normal washes without issue.

Soaked em hot, put em out and walked into the basement to wash em. No rocketscience, but you should put the inside out.
