This may seem like an unusual question, but…

Are there any Japanese brands that make really nice traditional work wear in US sewing shops (made in USA by/for a Japanese company)?

Pretty sure Post Overalls are a Japanese brand made here.

@Giles I've browsed Badger and Blade occasionally, but found more interesting/relevant info on The Shaving Room and the Straight Razor Place. What are you looking for?

They want a pair of jeans to review.  Needless to say they don't want to pay for them, so I'm trying to make my mind up….

Badger and Blade has been around a while and is a comprehensive source of all things manly. I've been on the site lots learning how to wet shave. Haven't been on in a while though.

That's a tough call. Who wouldn't want a free pair of your jeans in exchange for a review?! Do you need a review? Do you want a review?

It's more of a "best jeans around" award ceremony.  I've already said no as I mistrust the objectivity of anything when the stuff is comped.

Agree.  I don't see any upside to giving them a pair of jeans.  Those types of contests always end up with readers arguing about why their favorite brand should have won.

I also review jeans, and have been sent pairs by different brands, all on the proviso that if they suck I will say as much…..and I have.

For the last 3 days I've been unable to see some photos that people have posted, both whilst browsing on Tapatalk and Safari - is anyone else having this issue, and if so, do you know how to fix it?

My understanding is that lace-to-toe provides the ability to get a more secure fit. You can tighten up your laces all the way down the boot.
