Not sure this is the right place to ask this, but couldn't think where else, so here goes - I love the cut of my MBB's but would like a lower rise (so that I could wear them with a shirt tucked in, for work), so which other cut should I be looking at? Wow, that's a really tough question! I'd probably buy the one I'd get the most wear out of. For me that would be boots. Really for Jeans, I'd go another pair of IH either 25oz or 18oz Unsanforized, in a different cut. YMMV ::). Tough one!

I'm down in boots and jeans almost all the time, so wear is probably no issues.

I would take the boots. You can wear the jeans 24/7, but boots needs some time-out after some days of wear.
