You have a friend in me.  Over the last few years, I have found that I prefer my shirts with buttons over the snaps.

I definitely prefer buttons over the snaps also, snaps kinda…suck. Or at least they don't do the thing for me. I love mine which I got used also.

I have told H that I want buttons, but only if they can be sewn on the way I want them sewn on, otherwise fallback is copper snaps…
