I have the indigo N1 jacket, and lately been eyeing up a vest. Like you I am also now pondering on the draw of it in Khaki and trying to avoid reflecting down the line if another colour would have been more adaptable. But… then there is also black to consider, hhhmm, the choices in these lovely garments right now are not helping me seal the deal

@Baba-san I guess I’m ok with missing out on that flannel if there are these side effects. I don’t know if I could fight through a severe case of “PurpHead” like you’re dealing with. The flannel does look great though.

Haha… well played sir. I was lucky with the light today. The sun is quite low now around midday and they lit these up beautifully, showing off their true glory.
These XHS really did come up nicely. I published their “story” on here somewhere a long while ago. Én route to ending up like this they have experienced projectile vomit, a failed wash with marbling and abrasion lines and a consequent summer of heavy duty landscape gardening.
As well as having been on their way to the garbage a couple of times they have been saved numerous times by more repairs than I care to mention. They deserve to go into retirement in Gosport at some point, but they aren’t quite ready for it yet.
