I don’t think it would work as the person needs to commit to wearing, sharing, and the costs involved. I joined the tour knowing there would be expenses, but after $40 in customs and $220 in shipping, it wouldn’t be right to “select” someone who may only be halfhearted interested.

@Mizmazzle Shipped it using UPS for tracking and insurance. Didn’t want to be the one who lost it within multiple mail systems.

If I was gonna nominate someone, it would be @ARNC as I know he won't put himself forward for this one, something to do with not feeling like he could pull it off...
Now you've eased yourself into the leather game with that beautiful brown number, maybe it's time to get a little mad with it!

The people who do this tour need to “want” to do this and once again, I think nominating someone is a bad choice. I also don’t want people to join because of peer pressure.

@Tago-Mago haha. It worked its charms on my wife as well. She thought it was hideous when I showed her pictures of it. When it arrived she fell in love with it almost instantly.

@T4920 @Tago-Mago thanks guys! I’m flattered and it looks like I might need to give this some serious thought (don’t worry @goosehd, I’m old enough and ugly enough to make up my own mind).
If I’m in and if there’s other UK candidates, I’d definitely be open to arranging an in person handover / mini meet-up.

I can get back in. With work, my daughter heading off to university, and a planned move, I had to back off the tours. September, all will be back to normal...

It’s been hot here (for me) in the UK so it hasn’t been given the wear it deserves. I took it to a Foo Fighters gig but it came off early.
