@Yoprst great photos! Looking forward to when mine arrive, still nervous if I was right about the sizing

Don't worry, amigo. If you weren't three sizes up or down your regular, you should be fine

What's that golden dust on the belt loop?

@chadstone30 my money is on a sunset peaking through the window or something

Arrived!

Sickkk! Mine come in tomorrow.

After a hot soak, pretty happy with the fit. Top block is a tiny bit more roomy than my regular xhs were in the same size. But they have possibly a bit more taper. Soaked them last night and they're ever so slightly damp but I couldn't wait any longer. Buttons were not so hard to close either.
-
@Johnnyutah247 look great man! It’s good to wear them a little damp anyway so no harm no foul!
-
@worn2fade it sets those creases !

For the initial hot soak with this denim - inside out or no? And if yes, at what stage would you turn them right way round? I’ve seen on the forum people previously getting unwanted streaks / marks after the soak, so trying to avoid that.
-
I soak them regularly and turn them inside out when I put them in the washer. Never got any weird streaks.

Unlike washing, there is no real need to turn your clothes inside out during soaking/presoaking. Streaks create when your denim is still wet while rubbing against your washer drum, or against itself. I personally do not dive deep into the denim rocket science which is mostly digged out of denimheads noses. It's just a product made of cotton like many other things made of the same fabric, just being died indigo. There is no point in complication water related processes. Check IH care instruction and you'll be surprised how basic it is. No magic tricks at all

I agree with @yannis
I usually soak on body honestly but essentially that’s the same thing as not turning them inside out. I have had 0 issues doing it this way.
Turning them inside out is strictly a wash thing for me.

Thanks for the insights gents

I cold soaked and wanted a little more shrink in the top block. Followed with a Hot soak and waist is perfect, top block a little roomier then my other 888xhs as well, although not bad. They are still stiff and crunchy af, which should go away after a couple wears.

@Denimhead-0 they look perfect man
-
@Jord Thanks Friend. Just need to soften them up.

-
All the grip strength training has definitely come in handy on these buttons!

Out for delivery!

Got mine earlier today and I just can't stop laughing and thinking about what have I gotten myself into

Already drying but damp still.
