Here’s some pics of yesterday‘s hike from Wallberg to Risserkogel at Tegernsee.
Not many height meters, but fantastic weather and a beautiful 360deg scenery!

Spent a beautiful day at Eibsee. Can absolutely recommend the ca. 9km round walk if you're looking for a very easy, family friendly "hike" (walk I should say). The scenery is jaw-dropping.

Thanks @stingraygun It was barely freezing at 0° today and we were at 1.000m above sea level. I guess it will take some time for it to really freeze. When it does though, it is absolutely beautiful to walk over it and enjoy an even better 360° view on the surrounding peaks.

I love the Eibsee. Been there so many times when I was living in Munich.

@Dmart it was my first time there and I was absolutely amazed. We’ve had many hikes in the Zugspitz region but never actually took the time to do the Eibsee round trip as we always felt the drive should lead to more than just a „2 hour Sunday walk“. I think this may be the best 2 hour Sunday walk one can do and I’m happy we finally did it

I totally feel you. Was the same for me until a friend told me to take the time and just walk around Eises. Since then, I regularly went there. Such an amazing place.

First hike this year, with my love strolling around in the Hegau on a very mild January 2nd at about 10°C with some sunshine.

I‘m in England atm, Peak District to be precise. Meeting two very old british friends, from school exchange. Knowing us for 40 yrs. Been hiking on a crispy cold but sunny day, having beers and chatting. Perfect day.
