I wonder if they'll have discrete graphics in any of the pro line.

      Think it, be it.

I'm hoping for the retina Mini too, perfect size for use on my daily train/tube/train commute 🙂

MBP looks good. Mac Pro will be a bit pricey starting out at $3k, but whatev. Waiting on iPad updates.

          iPad Air, wasn't expecting that.

Looks like you guys got an retina iPad Mini

Definitely gonna upgrade my iPad mini to a Retina at some point.

256GB is pretty meagre on the standard Pro and no doubt the upgrades will be super spendy. Then again if you're buying one it's a given that it'll be pretty steep.

Nice Mega, I left it installing on the HTPC but haven't tried it yet.  Supposed to be better on battery as well.

Honestly, I am absolutely stunned at the difference. Interested to hear what other people find when they have installed it.

I'm getting confused about which new MBP to get. Geekbench numbers are starting to come in and the new 15in ones are slower than the previous generation. Doesn't make much sense. Any of you computer guys have time to help me out? I need to order a new one today or tomorrow for a trip on Sunday.

I'm upgrading from a 2011 MBP so a refurb or new 15in MBP is what I want.

Thinking about the high end 2.3ghz at $2300

Slower?  That's surprising.  I wonder if some of the OS optimizations don't play well with Geekbench.

So the new high end 2.6ghz MBP is about 4% faster, CPU wise, than the previous high end 2.8ghz MBP.

I guess I'm fine with that. I was reading mixed comments and articles about the speeds.

Siccccc. Gonna be a huge upgrade compared to my 2011 non-retina 2.0ghz i7.

Just upgraded my four year old Macbook from Leopard (cough) to Mavericks. It was getting a bit unstable after four years, but feels a lot happier now. It all went smoothly, but I did a bare metal install to get rid of all the cruft.

It's the second machine I've done updated, as I did my work machine yesterday. That went OK, except I had to fiddle around with getting IntelliJ to behave.

And now I'm just getting used to the reversed scroll…

The best thing that ever happened to touchpads is apple period. The glass trackpad and gestures is the only acceptable pointer input device IMO.
