Gold and Silver will always hold value against money. I ask him why.
He has Dirham silver and Dinar is gold. Said to me this is the real money. In future this will buy your way through.
The money made by government will mean nothing in near time when system pops.
As price are rising. You paying more anyway nowadays.
This Dinar was £125 in 2014 now today is worth £533
The prices for Good Art will go up even more in the near future.
So really the picture is bigger than you think

@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot i think its more like the have a formula to work out pricing, and a factor in that is the price of silver. You and we can argue the accuracy of that formula, but lets pretend one exists. The price of silver has gone up a lot in just a few days, and so they have decided that their prices are out of date, again
I'm not here to argue for or agaisnt the price of silver, the comments in the past about GAH not being tied to the price of metal, etc etc - just making a point that the problem they are trying to fix is soaring cost of silver, and its soared some more since the email Josh sent out a couple weeks ago.

Good Art on Self Edge is still at non-inflated prices. It's insane the Model 10 Bs are almost half the price of a Rolex watch smh....
We can all aim higher and start somewhere.

there is a world shotage of silver and high demand for the new tech,I spoke to an invester and he recons gold is at its peak and silver could still double.

@ajtrelf question is, will GOODART bring their RRP back down to a more "reasonbale" mark up, when (if) gold/silver bubble pops? Yeah the model 10B almost tripled in price right now but our wages certainly hasn't....

Goodart will never go back on their price hikes there is only one way for them and that is up since I have been buying their items it has been a steady curve upwards ,and that has never been about the price of silver.at the end of the day it's your choice if you like their products and can afford them carry on or look elsewhere for a new upcoming artist to enjoy always be at the beginning of a curve not at the end.

@kaacy1721 yeah, likely not. though josh said they would consider it.
the problem with all this "silver is going to double!" talk is that things are constantly evolving. and the value of silver absolutely tanked in the 80s. driven by some margin calls.
i know that's old history for many people, but it's important to take everything (esp. finance related in an unstable world) with a healthy degree of skepticism.
so, we'll see. bottom line is GAH (already pricey) is now into a price point that is higher than the average IH customer's comfort range (imo). As you said, average wages aren't going up much.

Clip 7 big arm has landed. My goal is to order a curb chain to put it on after my tax return arrives. Till then, this is my new setup.
