@Nick FFS, is there anything that he doesn’t look good in? Keep this up and you won’t need pictures of us attempting to look good in the product threads. 🙂

          😂

I did say to Courtney yesterday, 'stop making it look so effortless' but then remembered that's literally his job.

He says 'hi' by the way, to everyone on here. He appreciates the kind words.

I first bought this back in October 2021. Fell in love with it but I could never do it up because of the chest dimension! Looked great unbuttoned so kept it as a spring jacket for a few years.
Inevitably it had to go earlier this year, and I had no idea a restock was right around the corner!
Just got the next size up, and hoping for a win!
            🤞🤞🤞
For reference, I’m typically XXL with some XXXL sprinkled in there, and I went XXXXL with this. Let’s see..

            6'4". Wingspan of Phelps.

            WTB:
            IHSH-399-ORA - Tag XXL
            IHSH-260-PPL - Tag XXXL
            IH-888S-SLBod - Tag 36

@long_john86 what about sleeve length? I‘m also a solid XXL, with one size up to XXXL in Type3s. I can just get this one here buttoned up, but sleeves are already borderline too long. The corduroy lined cuffs look great flipped, though.

                  Very happy with this.
Here is the XXXXL over my 33 in XXL.
I can now do up this jacket absolutely fine, and it doesn’t appear to be too ‘baggy’ either.

I now own IH clothing ranging from XL to XXXXL! Just shows, the dims are your friend, not the tag.

I really wish the P2P and waist wasn't so slim in this. I love the fabric (I've got he N1 and more recent cargos in this material), and I'd love it in a jacket, but I can't see a way for it to fit.

If I go with my standard XXL size, I won't get it fastened, where if I go up a size, the arms are far too long and the shoulder is too wide.

Then it would not work for other body types. A fortuitous result of our garments being of varying size, is that we can make more people happy, than if everything fit a single body type.

We had a intern who lost sleep (and probably pulled his hair out too) because our jeans were not exactly the same measurements in a given tag size. My exhortation that we should celebrate the fact that because the measurements differ we can make more people happy, fell on deaf ears....

With thanks to the IH crew for answering my sizing queries, especially Alex Bailey who replied on a Sunday! I’ve had my first type 3 jacket ( well, first since the late 80’s anyway!)
As I had nothing comparable to measure against, was not sure between the M or L. The only other IH top I have is the IHSH 412 BLK in a M.
Listening to Alex’s advice I went with a L, thinking I will have room to layer and I’m so glad I did. Actually not sure if a XL would be better? (Which is really odd feeling for someone who usually chooses a ‘S’!)
I have to open the cuffs to get my hands in sleeves, feels comfy with just a T shirt, think it will be ok with a hoody, especially if it’s not fastened.
Opinions on fit would be appreciated, thanks.
