Worn XHS vests are obviously like the nr.2 bus where I live. You can wait ages and not see one then two come along at once. Very nice indeed @The_Bourbon_Denim_Guy

Ahhh man my vest story ain’t nowhere near as cool as that, I just wear mine when I ride. Those inside pockets are deep and they come in handy. It’s a badass vest that damn near feels bulletproof

I wear mine whenever the weather allows me but still not a lot of fading going on. This mofo takes a while to break in

Has anyone soak… their first, or worn raw
It should shrink in line with jeans. The only experience I have of shrinking type III's is with my IHV-21. It is was the old 18oz denim, but lined. The lining made shrinkage harder but I gave it a super hot wash which did the job.
I say go for it, especially if you'd like it a little more trim.
As a matter of interest, what are you doing with your old one?
