Bought this pair at Mildblend, Chicago in 2019. They get light and occasional use. Drying after their 2nd wash, the first one was really a soak and minor brushing, no soap. This was a thorough hand wash. I think they look good for another 5 years at least.

Thanks for your encouraging comments @Oaktavia , @Mizmazzle and @DeeDee85 . I’m a very slow fader which explains why they are at this point after 6 years! Mostly because I wear them on the occasional afternoon spent gardening and mostly on short get-coffee jaunts on the motorcycle. So this pair has a very easy life.
Only aspect which I ‘improved’ on them is adding an extra sole insert. I much prefer my footwear, including sneakers, to give me a thicker, firmer (even heavier…) sole.
