@northsouthdenimguy thanks for the sizing recommendation - I was thinking sizing up to the 9.5D also, but was apprehensive because a couple of my Lou’s that are in my regular rotation in size 9E have slightly stretched over time and are now just slightly looser than typical. SJ did email me back late yesterday and recommended the size 9D because the leather is very soft and will quickly stretch, That size was long gone as expected, but they also mentioned that they will probably have this makeup as a preorder in the near future; fingers crossed that they don’t become available as preorder.

Little update on my rough out boss boots. I think they’re approaching a year but they’ve been worn in rotation with my other boots. Probably my overall favorite pair

@northsouthdenimguy No, half size down like my RW and Whites. I’m 11.5 in most sneakers and went 11.

Interesting… I took the same size as my Derroll boot, which is 11.5 D. I’ve sold the rest of my Wesco engineers, but the bulk of them were 11 E, I can’t see myself fitting into an 11D.
All that being said, I had an 11.5E Mister Lou in natural CXL a few years ago and it was a bit too big. I had to use a thicker insert.
With this pair, even though it’s a D width, if it ends up being slightly roomy I’ll just wear my full-cushion heavyweight Darn Toughs.

Yo everyone with the Guthries …. I got the 36 and I’m terrified they are going to be too big. For reference I’m a 34 in my 555 16oz slubbys from IH. So question is should I be sweating this and trying to find a 34 to trade or do they fit pretty snug?

My step dad grew up in Westfield, they had a beach house in green island. We used to go not every summer but for a handful of years rent a house in point Pleasant for a month or so visit family in toms River go to Barnegat Bay, etc..

@northsouthdenimguy Small world. Westfield is nice, the Watcher series on Netflix was based upon a partially true story from that town. Most of my family lives in Toms River.

Slight but way more than acceptable variation. From the Derroll boot to the natty cxl “bubble toe” (I no longer own) to this boot it might just me but his damn makeup fits so well right out of the box… 11.5D is perfect same as the others
