@neph93 those boots look killer. You rock them well. Those Wesco Boss' are Engineer boots yeah? I'm still trying to find my first pair of casual/semi dress boots and I was looking into some Engineers along with the RW Beckmans and a list of others.
Also the 85 is almost an under the radar classic, seems to get ignored. Looks bad ass though.

I'm glad I took a shot at it. I was expecting to buy a simple, practical bit of kit, but I really like it a lot more than that. It's pretty sharp. The lesson leant here is that these more technical IH items are just as great as the cotton/workwear stuff we all love. I kind of knew that after picking up the IHV-24 a year or so ago. They are a pair of custom Wesco Boss 11" engineers I ordered through Giles about a year ago, based on the Motor Patrol last rather than the standard Boss. Bit of a luxury item for me as the #705 sole is useless from November to April where I live, but now the snow and ice has cleared I'm going to wear the crap out of them. @Giles had these ones built based on my pair, https://www.ironheart.co.uk/boots2/ihtb-bubo.html The major differences being that I have the #705 sole, brown midsoles instead of natural. I now have three pairs of Wesco's (two custom boss and one pair of lace ups). Can't see myself bothering with any other brands now. They are a perfect companion to IH in many ways.
As for the IHSH-85, it's making a comeback soon I believe, or at least something like it is.

Tomorrow, Friday 20th April 2018, is "Thank Duck it's Friday" on WAWYT for those that want to.
If anyone wants to throw in a Duck inspired pun with their pic then I strongly encourage it… "Duck this, it's nearly the weekend" is a personal favourite.
So get out your brown duck or indigo duck; navy, black or natty duck, and rock out with your...uhm... duck out.
As a side note, if anyone has one of those IH-x526J black duck type III's then you can leave that in the closet. Nobody likes a show-off
