That’s fucking rad @mclaincausey I’m pretty stoked on the shoes. They’re 70’s and will be my first pair. I haven’t worn Chucks since high school.
There’s another collab pair that just dropped with Come Tees that I really want too. I’ll keep an eye on the sales. Got the JMBs for cheap from End.

The Basquiats are here and they are awesome. Since I haven’t worn Chucka in forever I guessed on the sizing and I’m not sure I got it right. I went with 9.5 which is .5 down from my normal Vans, PF Flyers, New Balance sizing. 9.5 is my normal Red Wing, Wesco size. 10.5 is my Nike size How do you guys size?
Do they look like clown shoes?

You went with a similar plan I’ve always used, however, I’ve actually been buying my chucks bigger lately as I’ve been getting some toe bite.

I know a lot of folks think of them as clown shoes but dang, they're really tough, my feet breathe well in them, they come in so many colors, they're relatively inexpensive, and they're pretty dang comfortable!

….aaaaand I’ll take this opportunity to post a couple more pics of my converse. Thanks @Matt I’m genuinely surprised I don’t get robbed for them, or tackled by crowds of women, every time I wear them. Full leather interior and a supple upper.
Btw, those green ones are bomb. They remind me of Jack Purcells

@jordanscollected that’s exactly what they are. They’re the new Todd Snyder collab from his Rebel Prep (barf) collection with Converse. There’s a Chuck 70 pair that are pretty cool too. Both are made with Millerain waxed canvas.
Those JVs are fabulous. You got me poking around for some now.

Stoked that I found these in my size (I think) on eBay for $75. They’re from a collection Nike and Converse put out recently based on an old NBA championship ad campaign that featured fake basketball teams from the 70s. One of the teams was the Roswell Rayguns so as a New Mexico transplant I had to track them down.
The Chuck 70s are cool too so it’s only a matter of time…
