Picked these up from Lost + Found in Toronto. Love this bright indigo color way more than the original 70s muted blue they originally released.

I picked up the new Jack Purcell Signature in white today from Bloomindales. They are $95 but Bloomies has a 25% off basically the entire store sale going on right now so I got them for $71ish. I highly recommend these. They seem even higher quality than the 70s chucks. They come with an Ortholite insole that has Nike Zoom technology(?). The rubber is much thicker and the white duck canvas is much heavier than normal.

The sole looks nice and supportive, but I can't get past the blue lip on the toe.
Never liked that on the Jack Purcell's myself.

I agree. It's weird looking. I bought a cheap pair a few years ago just to see how I would like them and I ended up wearing them a shit ton during the summer with shorts. I wanted a new pair of all white sneakers and I didn't like the new monochrome 70s Chucks for some reason.

I have a buddy that has a pair of the same shoes from a few years ago, he was actually able to pry off that blue lip and they look much better. On his pair they just cheaply glued it on, so it hardly is noticeable after removal.

Owner of a pair of white JPs with the blue "smile" here.  First pair I got were half price, but a little too large.  I put up with them for a bit, but then ended up getting a pair that fit better.  The second pair were significantly lower quality e.g. rougher fabric, one ply instead of two, laces are plastic tip instead of metal tip, rubber more flimsy.  Pretty disappointing.

Makes sense. Nike and Converse are the same company and are made in the same factories.

Fully backing the new purcells.  Also got the new skate one stars which are great and I still stand by the skate chucks 100%

got my first pair of 70's chucks , got the new red suede ones and im really impressed with how solid they feel compared to your run of the mill converse

If I can help it I like the old plate instead of the modern
No rhyme or reason on what shoes they put them on. Oh & these are grey suedeish  lows.
