I work in Toronto and live in an apartment when I’m in the city….We call it the nature channel - no tv here.

Carl ate a big chunk of his stuffy a couple nights ago. Last night after dinner he started throwing up. I decided to take him to the ER last night. They did an XRay and found his spleen was really enlarged. Not even related to the stuffy eating incident it seam. They kept him over night and he’s still there. They are going to do an ultrasound this morning to see if he has an obstruction from eating the stuffy and figure out why his spleen is so enlarged. Broke my heart leaving him there last night and now I’m waiting in agony to hear back from the doctor…the house feels depressingly empty without him here.
In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...
