Soooo I know I promised to take photos but I failed at that. I took a few, but I'll reach out to Victor and see if he can send me some more photos.
I had a great time meeting everyone last night, it's really nice to put some faces to names. I hope we can all get together another time and maybe we'll make it to Gosport in the near future!

Giles, While you’re traveling to great places and meeting and hanging with great people the travel alone has gotta be really taking its toll. I just did a 20 hour travel day door to Door and the time Change alone has got me reeling. You’re a proper fit to the iron heart brand. Iron to the bone indeed. Bravo capitan

The Lamborghini was probably the loudest car on the track today, as an added bonus, it would shoot flames out of the exhaust on downshifts:

The big Mercs, the lonely Corvette and the Lamborghini were the best sounding racecars in my opinion.

Was checking out that dude's pair of jeans near the over head thing on the right hand side. Thinking wow, those are some awesome jeans. Took me a second to realize it was G

I'm with you Clint, that Vette shook the stadium as it blasted down the start/finish straight.

At about 6PM I left COTA to grab a bite to eat when we returned our car was in 7th overall (2nd in class), which frankly was kicking well above her weight.

Then we had an accident and punctured a radiator.  That took about 20 minutes to replace.  2 laps later the car was overheating so we had to bring her in again.  There was an air-lock in the cooling system, that took another 20 mins or so to fix.

First part of the race finished at 23:00 last night and we were 22nd and 4th in class.

I have photo's but they are on my phone and that is still at the circuit as the team were using it as a wifi hub for comms .  Good job I was there really….

Sorry to hear about the car problems that the team had, Giles - it sure was moving smoothly earlier in the day. Hope they have less issues today.
