Very nice Max. Can I ask what size? I swing between semi lace to toe and lace to toe when I look at jobmasters. I think it’s the size that does it..

@Peterpiper they're 10,5 E. I always find boots in my size to look not as good as smaller sizes but LTT improves the look  IMO.

Finally!  I love these boots, couple notes, I’m 5’11” and I think I’m like 6’1” when I’m wearing them.  When it’s muddy outside I keep them inside, they stick to the mud.  But snow, ice, pavement, dry desert trail, rock and sand they handle well. 
This winter in NY has been pretty mild so it’s always muddy where I live so I can’t wait for dry days.  Anyways, here’s some pictures of the progress (changed out the stock laces)

Not as much to show as @johnny5799 but aftwr two weeks of constant wear in these cold and snowy days they are broken in and easily the most comfortable and imo best looking boot ive owned so far.
Thats also what i hate about them - i got ideas for at least 5 new pairs already.

Oh, the laces start to crack already. Are the speedhooks suitable for leather laces? They look pretty narrow.

Me too. I’ve had the Smokejumpers 4 years with leather laces and speed hooks. Replaced laces once (about a year ago) and the new set (Wesco rawhide laces from IHUK) are still in fine form.

The gloxi-cut sole has started to speak to me, should be good for both weeks of the year when we have no snow on the ground.

Of course this blooming affection is kept purely platonic by the fact that this shoe in anything resembling my size is long gone.

I have never had a roughtout boots. Could someone tell me how this type of leather resists water, mud or melting snow?
wouldn't it be a nightmare to clean it from mud, because it is hairy surface?
and in case of flat leather I can applie some gutalin on top of the leather and make it more resistant from water and have better protection, how to be in case of roughout leather?
