I, too, have spent time on roofs, and in water treatment. Love the rooftop, as long as it's not in January/February. They can be particularly brutal, in Wisconsin. No love for waste water treatment, though. I was there ONCE, and with any luck, I'll never go back…

Sorry for you @Brock it must be horrific… the weird thing is from my media based perspective is that after Australia in January, there seems to be an acceptance that this is the new normal. Scary af. Hold on and be strong buddy.
