    @bryaneidins70:

    What brand of denim are the ladies in your lives wearing?

    Nudie. For the same reasons as in Mrs. Neph's case. Also, too heavy denim is not favoured as it doesn't drape very well. IMO Men's cuts look best on very athletic or small ladies and don't favor all kinds of bodytypes.

      Marcia likes Citizen of Humanity.  Their high-rise cuts, in particular.  We all know what I like, but the other Japanese brand I've been favoring recently is the Japan Blue hi-rise tapered.

        @Dstauffer:

        So I just ordered some custom whites. Lace-up bounty hunters from Baker’s….I went with an 8” model. I traditionally go with a 7” but decided to try 8”.

        As I look through pics of 8” boots I am wondering if I went too tall....any thoughts/experience with 8” boots?

        All mine are 8" and up @Dstauffer as @Neph93  says ankle support is good and to me, anyway, 7" is betwixt and between.  And I think  8" and up look better

          @Chris:

          Maybe your misinformed friend is confusing Iron Heart with Mr. Freedom?  Sugarcane works with them kinda regularly.

          Mr. Freedom and Iron Heart have a very similar aesthetic, so I can see how one could confuse the two brands (read that in the most sarcastic tone of voice possible).

          I have a Mr Freedom Metis that sheds buttons when I'm not looking.  ??? IH buttons haven't been a problem. Yet.

            What is best way to remove tuft feom IH flannels etc? There’s not much of it, atleast yet.

            My girlfriend bought ”sweater stone” which should be better than tuft remover -machine, but I think that both just cuts off tuft from fiber so it will be worster later.

              Whatever you do you’re removing fabric from the shirt. Personally I don’t see the need and have never done it with mine. A little pilling is just part of the aging process. Wabi-sabi and all that.

                    Are there any differences between the original 127 and the V2? Is it possible to identify which is which? I bought a green 127 on eBay a few years back and I don’t know which it is.

                      The arms on the V2 are longer.  Do a sizing compare…...

                          @Matty123 In fact I own both green 127 and 127-V2. the V2 has indeed way longer arms, but the fabric Looks 100% identical. This wasn't the case on the 72 and 127, though. Keep in mind that the arms of a V2 might have shrunken if it has been washed hot.

                            Thanks max, yeah there’s prob no way for me to tell. The shirt has been in my possession for 2.5 years ( didn’t fit me until now) and it was a few years old when the person sold it on eBay. It’s a xxxl with a sun faded sleeve sold from the LA area. Ring any bells for anyone on here??

                              Based on the fact you bought it in 2014-2015 and it was already a few years old, my guess is that is was a IHSH-72, not a 127.

                                  The IHSH-72 is an awesome shirt for sure. I would kill for a green 72 in an XL. I had a 109 that was my favorite, but alas… I also like beer and out grew it haha [emoji23]

                                          I seem to remember Max and I were opposites - he preferred the 127 where as I prefer the 72

                                          No real reason aside from the way i was drawn to the shade of green and the way all the patterns matched up on the sizes I’ve seen

                                          I loved my 127 green, but the fit was never “perfect” for me.

                                          @DrBabyHorse - you know I am weak, don’t tempt me…
