The denim is very nice. I'm stoked I grabbed em, even with three other 25oz waiting for more wear.
I got a little bit of a surprise in the hips. Most of my other IH is 36, and with my current exercise routine the 36s have all gotten baggier in the waist and thighs. I never considered baggieness, or lack thereof, in the hips. Regardless, I can button them all the way up, but my hips give the denim resistance, even when pulling them on.
I noticed some earlier comments where there was stretch from a cold water soak. I may try that this weekend. If ithat doesn't work, gonna have to go old fashioned and let them slowly loose the battle to my body shape. Damn, this denim is solid, and beautiful to feel and see.
I think the reason for my hip issue is from playing hockey so many years.

I hear that. "Rigid" does not do them justice. I have only worn them around the house, and while taking the dog for a walk, but the negotiations between my flesh and denim is going well. I am happy I sized down.

Unusually cool temps for NYC this time of year,no worries,can wear my 25OZ denim. Loving these jeans. Looking forward to living in them next fall.

my bathtub stopper thing is broken, so i have gone all amateur hour and soaking these in a large bucket

2nd soak. Got a little more shrinkage out which I'm happy about. Fit pics to come. But here are so evo pics. Hope you don't mind the dump.

damn, those are looking sweet already. How long have you worn them for?

I tried mine on post-soak today, and I have never broken into a sweat before just trying to get the jeans on and buttom them up 

I think I will enter these for the DWC competition, so start wearing them when that starts

dry, son. they been soaked once before I wore em, doe. more than six weeks ago… not altered.

wow. those are the truth.  i have the slim straight version and i sent them out to be tapered. should have them back in a week or two. too hot to wear though. 98 today… keep up the good work and the postings.

I am actually really upset neither 25oz double indigo would work for me. These jeans are going to be EPIC down the road.
