If I want a finished 38" waist what should be my target? The stretch/shrink is hurting my brain

I'd ask for the biggest pair of 36s they have. The waist will shrink but stretch out to at least pre-soak/wash measurements.

If they have a pair of 36s with a 37.5" waist, they should be perfect, assuming the thigh measurements work as well.

The 38s start with a 38.8 waist which is already too big... not an option in my opinion.

I bought the 777-25oz one year ago. The first 3 weeks were kinda rough but then the jeans became really comfortable and are now my absolute favorite pair of jeans.

@Gavin666 I got a steal on a white pair of 777 and they looked better than I remembered. Losing about 60lbs helped in that regard. I still prefer the rise of the 555 but the 777 fits my style really well. Thanks for the compliment too!

Thanks twin. It took a long time. That's my unscientific answer lol. Over 6 hours and weren't totally dry when I took them off. About 90%. But it was bedtime lol

Pre and post soak. This fabric is so great... The inseam shrank a lot! Glad IHUK helped me hem appropriately.

35.5" is how long mine were hemmed to as well. I'm only 6'2" but I like a single 2-inch cuff.

They should land about right after I soak mine. My sanforized and washed jeans are 34-34.5".
