I was waiting for someone to call me out!
Sorry for the slacking and I've realized it's probably not the best tour time for me. Got a newborn, just had to move my whole business, and I've got a daughter going in for surgery tomorrow.
Excuses excuses I know…
BUT,
I've got a few photos to throw up when I get a minute, and I need to just hang on to these a couple more days, as Zhivago is in town and he's got the White WTs...so I'm hoping for a pretty sweet yin yang denim type photo op. Two pairs of IH WTs in the same town at the same time...what are the odds?

I'm going to have to bow out of the tour. I've got a lot of family stuff going on that will prevent me from devoting the proper amount of time to doing this right, that's why I haven't been online much this year. Plus, it's been too hot where I live lately for me to wear jeans comfortably at all. I know it's sacrilege to say this here, but I haven't worn any denim at all in almost 2 months.

I'm not sure, I'll need to see what the measurements are. I was borderline on fitting into them when the tour started and since then I've only gotten fatter. I may not be able to squeeze my chubby legs into them.
I still hold out hope that I'll start eating less and exercising more before my turn comes around.

I'm a bit husky and showed no mercy, so they "gave" a bit...
I'll get some proper measurements before I send em off, but I'm pretty sure the waist is around 36" by now.
The thigh and crotch is a little different story...But I do love the look of theseNutBeatle Busters…

So I guess a standard part of the WT experience is giving other's a glimpse into your life and surroundings and let them in on a part of the world they might not otherwise experience.
For any that don't know, I live in very Northern California in an area called Humboldt County.
It's right on the Pacific Ocean and home the the last old growth redwood forests in the world (the tallest trees ion the planet). It is best known however as the marijuana growing capital of the United States. For anyone who's heard rumors of this place, they're all true and then some. I'm not directly involved in that world, but I honestly like being part of a community that is completely self sustaining through counter culture ideals.
The town I work in, Arcata, is a very liberal hippy college town with a couple of natural food stores and more yoga studios and massage therapists than you can shake a stick at. I run a semi-private tattoo studio near the college. Won't bore you with the details, but if you're interested try truenaturetattoo.com and that should give somewhat of an idea of what I'm about.
As I said before, life's been hectic, so my leg of the tour tapered off fairly quick. Didn't have time to run around to all the epic spots around where I live and get pics.
I wake up, get kids/family dialed, go to work and tattoo all day, come home, eat, go for a walk and call it a day.
My evening walk down my road has become my favorite part of the day, so I can at least share that…
So this is me and my son after dinner cruising the road...
If anyone is familiar with the Lone Wolf and Cub manga (and later movie) series of which I'm a huge fan, you'll get the whole loner dude pushing the baby vibe I'm going for.There's lots of farmer and rancher types on my road, so that means there's a lot of old barns…
Another fixture on the road and the whole area is old tree stumps. This used to be a very heavy logging area and you see them everywhere. You can see the notches in the side of the top one. That's where the old loggers would chisel out a piece so they could wedge a board in it to stand higher up on it and saw the tree…
For being a rural and semi rustic area, it's surprisingly not too "rednecky". There's plenty of quirky flavor and charectars on the road. My neighbors crossing sign and sticker on her cool old Ford…
And lastly, the view I look out on as I'm walking…
Hope that wasn't too boring, and wish I could've done a bit more for the tour, but hopefully it gave a little taste of my scene.
Now they'll be heading down the coast to DEP and the next chapter… -

Loved your contributions Katsushin. The descriptions of your area reminds me of Thomas Pynchon's Vineland… Looks like a good place for hippies to get lost!
