I did not soak. This denim is sanforized and won't shrink. At least I don't think. You're welcome.

@Jordonf9 here's a fit pic. My buddy said he took another but there's nothing there. Sorry.

Thanks filthy! Fit you well and seem to have shorter inseam than I. I'll have to wait a little on these as I just dropped a lot on the Wesco walking boots from Giles ha-ha.

Wish the engineers had about .5 less in hem for myself. I have to send railcar an email to beer if they can taper. Don't now how that would go with triple chain stitching. These engineers are beef and built to last!

@Filthy25ozJunkie you don't by chance have any 21 overdyed jeans do you? If so, how do they compare to the regular 21oz in terms of breathing/weave? I would guess hard to tell, but figured I'd ask.

@Filthy25ozJunkie I wore these everyday, except one, since I got them. IMO they are comfy already, ha. Compared to the 821, these are much comfier, plus I like the ever so slight smaller cut. Get to see all the details with these, but the 822 are a beautiful stealth. The 16oz is much stiffer(but still comfy IMO) than these. I do believe they keep me a little warmer due to tighter weave.

Can't wait for another month or two with some evo! I did your water bottle trick for the first day, misted them two times so they were a bit soaked and the combs are set, just got to wait. Dunno how they would have been without water as I never had the regular 21oz before.

If you are on the fence, jump it and grab a pair of these beautiful beasts!

Jordan,I used to wear Carhartt double knee jeans when I rode. Would you ever consider wearing these when riding? That would be the main reason for me to get them. Think they'd be warmer and give you another layer of abrasion resistance. Curious as to how the the material would bunch up at the knee when sitting on the bike. Thanks–Jett

@Jett129 easily and I have already. It's all relative to your measurements. All my other IH DS denim/pants are more tailored for a fitted/tapered fit, so layers make them a little tight, hut still can. I have two under pants, merino wool which are thin and a super thick cabelas pair that fit no problem and have full movement with no restriction unlike my other pairs.y 822 and 821 both were meant for motorcycle riding, but I love and gotten used to the baggier straight(instead of tapered) fit that these are the only ones I wear for now. All my 634 jeans are about about 13.3 thigh from IH, but these are 13.6 from IH makes them so much more usable. I much prefer a 13.6 or slightly larger now in general. I am a size 36.

If you are considering these…get them, you won't regret it.

Thanks @Filthy25ozJunkie , looks like you and me are the ones to provide the evo photos and be the ambassadors haha

@Jordonf9 Thanks for getting back to me. I'm also a 36,and my 634s are my go to riding jeans. I find that the extra thigh room translates into more comfort on the bike. Been eyeing these ever since they came out. My next planned IH purchase is the corduroy western shirt. If for some reason that doesn't work out than maybe I'll grab a pair of these. Also currently breaking in 25oz 777s. They look great on you.

After wearing the 822 and 821 jeans, these are my favorite layout of IH jeans. I wish my other IH had the size of pocketbags and slightly larger rear pockets like these, makes my daily carry pieces so much easier/comfier.

Been wearing the 822 non stop, need to start putting some work wear into the 821 so some more fades come.
