      These have been getting a lot of wear over the last few months.  I've never been a massive boots guy but absolutely love these.  They are hands (feet?) down the most comfortable boots I've ever worn.

        Absolutely stunning! Love those boondockers, there's definitely a hole in my collection that needs to be filled.

              Well this is disappointing. After two weeks of owning and just a few wears a friggin' snap broke on my RMC vest.

              Not a very good impression of my first piece from these guys…

                      Given their reputation and the price point in this thing, I am assuming they will. I just emailed them about. Unfortunately I had already discarded the original tags because I had planned on keeping it. Although I am sure that will not be an issue given I only had it two weeks and it will likely be considered "defective".

                      I know it's a first world problem, but just kinda bummed to see it happen to such a great piece. That being said, it is made by humans and there is always a margin of error…

                        Agreed but at the price, you should expect to be able to get it sorted at no extra charge!

                        I have one of their overdyed m65s.

                        There is a fucking huge quality control issue with it. This being that the hood is not actually stitched in to the jacket properly.

                        Yes we all make errors, but for the price charged for their stuff outside of Japan. You should expect to get it sorted in a hassle free manner!

                          I agree 100% and am hoping that is the case. I had read about some quality control issues in this thread, but figured with this piece being such a high price item, I would bypass that. We will see, I emailed them yesterday so hoping to hear back by Monday at the latest.

                          Unfortunately I have been spoiled by IH in terms of quality and customer service. I know @Giles and H would never allow such a quality control issue to take place, and would bend over backwards to make it right if it ever did happen 🙂

                              The hard part is, the vest is sick AF! It just makes me leery to get another as I am unsure of what issues I would encounter with that….I am really leaning toward just a refund at this point.

                              I'd love to see IH do some sort of variation on this style best. I'm sure that would be a winner on all fronts.

                                      @QuantumMechanic I had the same experience when I had some initial questions about the vest. So I ended up "live chatting" with Superdenim.com who sells RMC inventory and was responded to immediately.

                                            Not at all.  Sharing stuff like this helps other people decide whether or not to buy from retailers/brands.  These things will happen from time to time, but it's pretty important for the company to deal with it in the right way, which is mainly a swift, compassionate response.
