I have to admit, that the Service Boot by Viberg is 100% what I am looking for in terms of shape. The White's I tried on were indeed heavier and the last was great to walk in. So I'm pretty torn between the two. How did you size in your Vibergs, Whites and Red Wings?

Same size in Vibergs and White's. Sold all my RW and don't remember. Sry Flo!;)

Got a bunch of White's 1/4 lowered…..was a big mistake for me...they look too low and feel too low. The heel in standard height is not so tall...Wesco makes em much taller

Personally like the look of the lowered heel and the Bounty Hunter is the best of both worlds IMO. We shall see

I have the same boot.  it's a classic, great build, nothing fancy, just awesome.  I'm probably the only person within 300 miles of my home that even own a pair of White's.  I've never ever seen anyone out and about wearing anything resembling White's with the signature curved heel.

It's funny, I work for UPS and we have a boot/shoe dealer that comes in the send surplus/repairs to Red Wing all the time and he asked me about my SD's the other day. He had never even heard of White's. I just told him to look them up

Personally Gav I just like the idea of evo for my feet. Most other leathers don't do much except scratching and scuffing

Thats cool for you man, and I know it's not a popular opinion but I just don't like the way it evolves. To me it just looks prematurely and artificially worn and battered.
