^+1…not an infant, but my 2yr old girl has had the stomach all week. Has been throwing up for 5 days straight. Since it’s a virus, all that can be done is to just wait it out.
Grateful it’s nothing serious as there are kiddos who have died of this seasons flu, but man it sucks....talk about powerless.

Yep. Our 7 month old had a pertussis (Whooping Cough) exposure over Christmas. Super stressful. Thankfully she had just finished her last round of vaccines and we were able to get her on antibiotics before she had symptoms. Like the flu, it's another one of those that you can't do much after a round of antibiotics and it can easily hospitalize infants and unfortunately some pass from it every year, mostly because they are unvaccinated.
To say the last few weeks has been stressful is putting it lightly. Fortunately she seems to be coming out of the woods now.

I absolutely hate Instagram advertising.
Pretty much report every single ad I see as spam.
Because it mostly is, there is no Place on the Interweb that knows better what I care about, but IG keeps ignoring everything. The recommended Posts Section seems to be more off everytime they change the System/Algorythem, I couldn´t care less about the Fitness Lifestyle or what Sneaker Nike released.

I absolutely hate Instagram advertising.
Pretty much report every single ad I see as spam.Because it mostly is, there is no Place on the Interweb that knows better what I care about, but IG keeps ignoring everything. The recommended Posts Section seems to be more off everytime they change the System/Algorythem, I couldn´t care less about the Fitness Lifestyle or what Sneaker Nike released.
As I understand it, the Explore section is based on the things people you follow like… They assume if you follow @XYZperson and they like it, you might also.

I was supposed to receive today this vest, http://www.indigoferajeans.com/2017/garments/monroe-vest-goat-shearling/ as my birthday gift, but because of the storm Frederike the delivery got delayed to Monday. From tonight until Monday evening I am in the Dolomites and I was hoping to take it with me. Not that this is important, in fact it isn't at all, but I'am sure you all know how it is if you are looking forward to arrive a package.

Facebook has turned into a giant pain in my ass. What started out as a way to stay in the loop with friends I don't talk to very often has turned into work.
For the record, I pretty much don't care what beliefs people have, but I get really aggravated when I see uninformed opinions or a repost of something that was supposed to be clever but factually wrong.
Now every time I go on Facebook, I have to unfriend a person or two when they post something they haven't fact checked first. Seriously, I know you have a smart phone in your pocket, it's not that hard to fact check…

I think it has always been "make your own reality", there was just a more centralized control of the narrative that guided us to our views. Now everything is so diffuse, but it's all pretty loud. Add the supposed universal access to education and information that is mediocre at best, and actively misleading and/or revisionist at worst, and we've got an undereducated populace that feels like they're smart and informed. It's a perfect shitstorm, of which facebook is the prevailing wind.
