Random Rants

I still have no reply about the usage of my picture, but I just crossread her Men's Jeans Fit Guide and noticed that under the point
"I see a lot of guys wearing jeans with stacking like the images below. You want to avoid this at all costs."
is a picture that looks remarkably like the ones that Self Edge uses, just that she was clever enough to crop the face out this time.
Little Ashley is a experienced copy cat.
Notice the graffiti on the street.

hahaha. she said the jacket suited more muscular men. i guess you'd have to take off the jacket to show her your build.
guess she needs to compensate for the lack of with her fiance
Couldn't watch more then two minutes of that video…. makes me wanna puke
to be honest, i couldn't stand her voice 10 seconds in.. had to suffer through just to see what it was all about..
-
Her videos are simply horrible to watch. I looked that epic ''Men's Jeans Fit Guide'' up and this is the introduction:
''I see a crap-ton of guys wearing jeans that don’t fit properly. I often wonder who would date or marry these schulbs.''
This says more about her than it should (or anyone needed to know).

Had an interview last week, thought I did pretty well and haven’t heard a thing back. Pissed.

^That’s rude. They should get back to you within a week with their decision.

Her intonation (upspeak) drives me insane. I wouldn’t be able to watch enough of her videos to ever find out I’m dressing wrong, and quite honestly, I wouldn’t care what she thinks!
Well, in her case it's the blind leading the blind

This happens way too often. Sorry it happened to you as well.
I had a second phone interview today for a new job, hoping that doesn’t happen again. -
my car is in the shop again and I had to take public transportation for the first time in 20 yrs. Reminds me why I bought a car in the first place. Even more depressing than taking the bus is how much money i've sunk into repairs in the last 6 months (engine mounts, tie rods, struts, ignition replacement, brake pads/rotors). Probably a first world problem but I want to

I find the whole recruitment process to be really dispiriting. I tend to work as a contractor / freelancer, so I go through it a couple of times a year.
I normally find that agents talk me down (you're not good enough for this job / rate), potential employers or clients are really demanding (they want a lot of recent experience), the recruitment process involves jumping through some significant hoops (I've been sent technical tests that will take several days to complete), and you often get turned down because of fairly arbitrary reasons.
@David_pll I had a face-to-face interview a fortnight ago. I haven't heard back either.

I ran into that alot when i was interviewing. I know it sucks. especially when one has had 2 or even 3 interviews with a company. i feel for ya.
-
Thanks guys.
I have to agree, the process can be very disheartening. Luckily I’m working at the moment, just looking for that next step up. I find it unprofessional to not get a response either way, doesn’t seem quite right.

2 weeks and no word either way? That’s shitty. I bet that shittiness is mirrored across the board. That company and or person will get their just deserts eventually.
-
If someone can’t give you an email or a call back to let you know they’re not interested—I wouldn’t want to be with the company, any way.
I agree.
I also think that any company asking you to spend hours or days on a pre-interview test is also screening themselves out of contention.

My lord. Wash your hands after you piss. Especially if your at a restaurant. Especially if you’re sharing food and a pitcher of beer with your friends and family. I estimate tht 60% of men don’t wash their god damned hands after a piss. WTF is wrong with you? No one wants your pissy dick hands anywhere near them. You know who you are. Do the right thing neanderthal.

Unless your at the Liberty in Austin. Then piss is cleaner than anything else you’d touch in the Water closet.

Same goes for guys that piss all over the seat and leave skidmarks in the toilet. I've also encountered a weird thing where some guys leave some mystery ass residue on the seat that makes my skin crawl. Absolute slobs
