apparently in Singapore, as long as they show you their warrant card (police officer card), they have every right to check. that's what the staffs at the billiard hall said when i came out ranting and swearing. not sure how true cos i've never really bothered to check but now i'm gonna go find out!

nah that's just the way the police here do their routine checks on you. maybe towards young guys which they presume are on the wrong side of the law. and to those idiots, being in a billiard hall and smoking at the stairs in the back means you're a bad person or you've got links to triads. total bullshit.

and trust me, the law in singapore is pretty harsh. caning can be easily obtained with crimes you never expect. oh did i mention any singapore's strong stand against drugs? just for you guys reference. look at the amount you just need to be caught having and you're on your way to see God.
