@Giles ok I'll ask: what was the unsolicited instruction that inspired the rant? People love giving advice, no more so than when they are exceedingly unqualified.

not to beat a dead horse, but I will anyway. Another thing people don’t always understand is that everyone’s anatomy is different. My ulnar styloid doesn’t really protrude at all, so I actually wear my watch right on top of it rather than above it. With a larger watch, it probably looks like it’s sitting way down on my wrist below the bone, but it’s not. I can see why people wear it above if they have a noticeable protruding bone as it’s probably uncomfortable to be on it or even below it

@northsouthdenimguy I had to google "ulnar styloid" to make sure it was what i thought it was, and it was - the most uncomfortable part of watch wearing for me. Must be nice! Enjoy your non-protrusive wrist bone. lol. I'm one of the ones who keeps my watch high and tight on a nato strap to avoid contact.

Yeah I heard that’s the next trend with high-end watch buyers… quick little ulnar styloid shave so the case sits flatter. 😜

@goosehd Imagine the benefits though, with 1/2 an oz shaved off the case there's no way any regular watch wearer could beat him to a TV remote ever again. It's like cheating but smarter

Because of the USA's decision to bloody the nose of Iran, with what appears to be no medium/long term plan or basic comprehension of what the after-effects would be, the 3rd trip in 3 weeks has now been kyboshed.

I will no longer be supporting the local islanders in Oman with my fishing dollars. Zero way me or any of my mates can get there. I will be going to Portugal instead. I will still have a great time, but there may not be a next time in Oman, because the fishing operation we use there, has had zero/nada/fuck-all paying guest since the shit began, with no view of any relief, any time soon.

He actually made the situation worse. And that's why I'm currently vacationing in Sizran. Do you know what Sizran is?)))))) It's a remote province where no one ever vacations.
