4 parcels sent, 4 parcels lost (stolen), answer from Paypal "You need to use a special courier". Useless.

No - not useless… Italy is one of those countries that isn't even protected by ANY USPS service... No kidding...

Which is why I don't deal with Italy (or Spain)...

I used to ship out about 1000/ packages per year… Only had issues with Spain and Italy... All of my mates who run record labels decide on the same thing: FUCK Italy... Don't get me wrong though: except for Berlusconi and all them fecking right winged PUTAS it's my fav country of all times...

I hear that all the time…. the only "lost packages" for 2011 are from the UK and Australia and one in South America, think it was Chile. Oh and a clown in South Korea that thought he could scam me, poor little boy......

Yes, if something costs a £1 you pay £1.19 or £1.20 in the UK. (20% VAT here)

23% VAT over in Finland..  The prices listed within the EU always includes the tax, so you don't have to be a math wizard to figure out what stuff costs..

Yeah, that's quite fortunate for someone like me… If I'm at a bar and I gotta do math before paying, I'd probably end up giving the bartender 500 $ and tell him to keep the change... Although thinking about it, that could actually BE the right amount...
