I've got the day off so I figured I'd have an afternoon brew.

Really nice sour, not as funky as Jester King or even Love Child but still very good.
I think Prairie does better with stouts and darker beers though.

And since I got two more bottles I had to open one…

Damn. Really nice right now, about 8 months after being bottled. But I'm sure its even better after a few years.
The smell alone is really great, not too boozey of a taste either.
Still wish I had the coffee varietal to try out!

Honestly the coffee is not that good… I reckon it's time for me to open a 2013 BC Barley btw...

Really stoked about all this shit…

Detail of the last bottle… 17 €/ 500ml... Had this four years ago and I poured it in the sink...

Funny, I'd heard that the coffee version is on of the better ones.
Apple Brandy Noir is great! Funky Gold Amarillo is also pretty nice, same with 'Merica.

+1 on the Funky Gold Amarillo.  Careful pouring it- lots of foam on that one.

Way stoked to have that'un… Apple Brandy Noir was 10 €/ pop, so only got two 😞

To Ol... You fucking beauty of a brewery you... This is making me smile... Advertised as a quad, it's more of a mix of a crazy strong dipa and a sweeter (€uro) barleywine... Fucking LOVE it... Extremely drinkable but 11.3%...

I really need to try some more To Øl stuff, we don't get much here but I see it every now and then.
Went to the store before work yesterday, came across the last pint of Yellow Rose and more Prairie Noir. Glad I have more than a bottle to drink now! Might drink one tonight.

Last night went out and had a few beers, this was the only one that really stood out.

St. Lupulin from Odell, very nice and refreshing. I could drink loads of these on a warm summer night.

And tonight I opened up a bottle of Prairie Noir.
Absolutely delicious. Prairie once again nailed it. The whiskey isn't very noticeable until after taking a swig. Which is good because it doesn't overpower the beer itself.
