What's your favorite Beer?

In my experience super-hoppy beers don't age well. The aromatics of PNW hops to me diminish over time.

It's an imperial IPA, but I still would not age or cellar that…

PS: Int'l Beer Day was yesterday. I'm an eejit. The KBS still is way good though.

Speaking of delicious IPAs, as I discovered last night, Ska Brewing's Modus Hoperandi is at an elite level. A really tasty hop bomb for certain.

Splendid. This one is reminiscent of a wine with berry and dark fruit notes. It is also wild, funky, and tart, with more than a hint of the barrel.

I didn't visit Geers, dudes… Two local stores... Geers = too well known so they limit the rare stuff per person... So I've been hitting up the smaller stores lately... With rather brilliant results...

I was way excited for this. I had this in my store when it came out in 2012, tried it, didn't like it… Now I had to pay 3 times as much for a bottle, but at least it's BRILLIANT...
