I have found this to be the case with my pair too.  In order to get a different silhouette, depending on the shoe (& shirt) combination, I have been going back and forth between some stacks ( w/ Red Wing Mocs), a 2 inch cuff (over some brogue oxfords), or even a pin-roll (for flip flops).  It's pretty remarkable how different they will look.

I'm still workin on loosening up the SBG Busters, but i'm not so sure i'm fond of the higher rise… i'm prob the only person on the board that LIKES the low rise of the DC4... i've always worn all my jeans really low though. The 666 may be a little slimmer in the leg but it has a lower rise too. If i'm a 30 in 634s and DC4001 and then 29 in the SBG Busters (mega tight still workin on em) what size should i go for in the 666OD? I may have to seek out a pair.
