    That sounds fantastic.  That 15-19 oz range is, for me at least, the perfect weight for denim.  And the darker, the better.

      Sounds interesting! This in the 633 cut would be a certain purchase for me. Other cuts: maybe as well.

        Well, we probably shouldn't get ahead of ourselves; it's a long road between test batches of fabric and full production. 😉  That said, I believe the 633 is a Self Edge exclusive model, so I'd rather see this in a more broadly available fit, like the 634 or the 666.

                  Can we please turn our attention back to the S/S chambray?  There is a 100% chance that I am getting this shirt.  That is a year-round shirt for me now.

                    @Giles:

                    H showed me a new denim he is working on with (perhaps) his favourite house mill.  This utilises a weft made from the same pulp as paper money.  The weft is amazingly strong and very thin, this results in a very dark face and a denim that is really thin for it's weight…..

                    What weight denim is he thinking of making?

                    Loving the potential on this one, btw.

                    Wicked. Love to see this one.

                      Me too, thin and heavy prob means some mean fade potential.

                        Notice the maroon chino cloth cuff opening, we think that this looks good and will hold up extremely well…

                            Looks great. Will the chino cloth cuff lining be used on all flannels from here forward or will it depend on fabric weight, etc?

                              Didn't think I'd be into this color way when I initially read about it, but man it looks really nice.
                              Chino cloth reinforcement is a nice detail too.

                                I suspect we may see it on more heavy flannels moving forward….

                                  Gimme gimme!  Though I'll be anal and say this is more like cardinal/crimson and cream, which suits me perfectly!  ::)

                                  Did you guys experiment with white/beige/cream colored snaps?  The white buttons look good on the work shirt.

                                      We did.  We had a vote in the office and the above is what we decided to do…

                                        It's also a solid workhorse snap in the Iron Heart stable.  Can't go wrong with it.
