@WhiskeySandwich I have to say I completely agree and I am much preferring 14oz to 21oz on the warmer days, contrary to popular opinion here on the forum. I wouldn’t dispute that the 21oz is more breathable but just feel weighed down by it as you say. I’d be curious to see if anyone would pick a 21oz type 3 for summer over a 14oz

@DeeDee85 with my 19oz type 3 I run hot from 18-20 degrees celsius, but they seem to be less breathable than 21 oz... Had a 16 oz slb type 2 that was wearable in summer no problem up to 30 degrees...

@october-rust same cut on the same body, I guess… I just wear em and they do what they do. I have noticed that slight variations in measurements here and there alter the way they crease. Also noticed that every single pair of IH I have have an ever so slightly slimmer upper right thigh. Negligible effect, maybe due to the fifth pocket.

@DeeDee85 I'm still okay with rocking the 21oz during summer if i'm going to be mostly indoors, but if i had to spend the whole day outside, i'll take the 14oz. No way I'd wear a 21oz jacket in the summer. I barely wear a t-shirt when i'm outside in the summer. On some occasions when it's really hot, the sleeves on my tee shirts have been known to spontaneously fall off...

Not in the same league as recent contributions, but there’s definitely something going on with my 666S-21. I don’t keep metrics as I’m a slow fader and would inevitably get frustrated, but I’ve had these about 2 1/2 years (intermittent wear).

@ARNC I’m gonna second what @goosehd and @WhiskeySandwich said. Different strokes for different folks. I am very much in the same vein as you when it comes to fading, slow and steady. But everything is a valid contribution to this great community! Keep up the great work and don’t sell yourself short!

@ARNC yeah buddy!! You’re great at rocking your steez brother!! That’s my absolute favorite thing about IH. It has a way of bringing out each of our unique styles!! Also, for some reason, we all seem to have so much in common even apart from the IH gear we’re obsessed with.

@Mizmazzle thanks. I love the variety of styles too - WAYWT would be so dull if we all did the same thing! I guess the same applies to evo. The results reflect our differences but there’s really no right or wrong way and the journey usually ends up being pretty interesting.

The last couple years my jeans goals have been rock one pair all school year. August - June. Last year it was 888 XHS and this year 555 XHSbb.
I’ve been really excited to compare the two pairs after a full school year each of exclusive wear. Next year my plan is to wear both of these pairs in tandem to push them into the 400+ wears apiece range.
I always get pocket bag tears…
