IHSH-106 - Quilt Lined Selvedge Chambray Western Shirts

After wearing mine for one week straight I have to highly praise it.
-The fabric is perfectly balanced between stiff and comfortable and has a very interesting structure. Not sure wether it qualifies as streaky or slubby, but it's certainly not boring. While the 105 is super soft from the beginning, the 106 has to be broken in.
-The red lining looks awesome when you wear the shirt unbuttoned or when it Peaks out of the collar.
-The sleeve length is about perfect and I even embrace the shorter body length. Somehow it goes well with the thick fabric.

The shirt has a weird feel of temperature - you don't sweat in it nor is it too warm when worn just with a T-Shirt. But if you wear a light Sweatshirt / longsleeve underneath, it goes well with temperatures of 3-10°C as shacket.

I have a feeling that it will show great roping and maybe even some fading...it will definitely look bloody gorgeous with years of wear. that's why I almost wear no other shirt right now.

It's been the only Shirt I got compliments for by People that know nothing about IH in the last months.

The only Thing that irritates me - the Shirt has a weird smell, like sulphur. I think I'll have to wash it at an early stage, but maybe it will go away on ist own.
In short: get one quick, it might be perfect for those just-a-little-bit-warmer-than-winter days.

@giles: Is the grey one gunpowder dyed? I smelled the Indigofera Gunpowder Denim today and it smelled exactly like the 106.

@Max Power are you able to wear this together with the deck jacket?

Well, my Deck Jacket is L and I would need XL for heavy layering. But even then I'd figure it to be quite narrow. I could perfectly layer it under my IHM-08 (XL) and my IHxSE CPO.

I am worried about picking up a XXXL and it being TOO big. I normally wear an XL comfy/fitted/pefectly.
I saw the price go up 40 since the other day…hey....haha.

I just got this in the mail and have to say that this shirt is incredible. Extremely comfortable and it looks sharp! I'm blown away by how cheap it is relative to other IH shirts. Anybody thinking about picking this up should hurry.

..... Fortunately, I have the brown one AND the 105 in black. Excellent purchases in the last months.
