I didnt like the flimsy and shiny string thing that came with my hat. So I made a band using 14oz indigo/indigo selvedge.

It was from the extra fabric from cutting pants into shorts. They were just barely long enough like within half an inch was all I had to cut to size. 14oz indigo/indigo.
