It's really out of my hands, but the major work starts this week end.  I have been promised loads of pics.

Sarina brings over leather patch with lot number "G-SR500" stamped on it when she and Haraki come over in a week, then that and the Horse Hide can be sent off for the seat to be made….

She opened the mail yesterday to get the change of ownership documents.

It looks like it's coming along quite quickly. The frame seems to have had most of the welding done, and the new seat in place.

I like the patch, and the FQHH seat covering.

What is super cool is that when Yamaha do the launch video of the XTR1300 we are building, they want to include my SR500.  The current Sports heritage range (which the XTR500 is part of) traces it's roots back to bikes like the SR500.
