^i agree with Captain Slow. But they are "suppose" to not have all the other harmful chemicals that cigarettes have in them.

My recent purchase; Aero Leather FQHH Boardracer Jacket
A black front quarter horsehide Boardracer in a size 40". Fitted with nickel Talon hardware and lined in black cotton drill with the Aero label stitching in to the bottom of the lining.

Got it today day! A Buzz Rickson 1910 Navy Peacoat. It's replacing my vintage Korea era 1958 surplus peacoat. This thing is amazing. 36oz wool, superb construction, dead accurate historically. Love it.

Got some Buzz Rickson goatskin a-10 gloves from the Que Pasa sale. Gloves are nice. One of them showed up sunfucked tho

I tried some LP on the lighter one but it didnt darken up much. I told them about it and they just said that they only had small and medium left and they were discoloured aswell [emoji107]. Thx guys

Did they mark it as dis colored? If not, they're pulling some shady shit and it's not right.
Luckily with my stuff everything came normal… But they have condition descriptions and they should use them.

No, there was no indication that they were discoloured. I sent them an email about it but they didnt seem willing to do anything about it. Just told me they had sm and med left when they knew i ordered lrg lol. I told them i liked the gloves but would have liked to know that they were discoloured before spending $93(sale price)on em

Sounds a lot like jeef's experience with Que Pasa. I wonder how many other people got something other than what they were expecting.
Oh, and I'd try leaving the lighter one out in the sun for a bit, since that seems to darken leather pretty consistently.

Looks like it was left out in the sun and it faded. I dunno. Got a kawatako belt aswell and it was all good. Just wasnt happy with the gloves. They could have atleast offered a discount after leaving that detail out

1940’s Fire-King D handle mug
Here is a 70’s version (on the left) made by Anchor Hocking (company that owns Fire-King) for comparison. The 40’s mug is much thicker, heavier, and has fewer and less sharp seam lines than the 70’s one. The 40’s mug, though much better crafted than the newer one, has more imperfections and more ripples in the glass which gives it a nice character. Really like the ivory color too.

I prefer the 1940s mug, but both are beauties. You have a cool hobby with these mugs going.
