@Bulatik85 sounds like you may need to go down a size. Glad you like them though. They look tremendous.

@neph93 do you mean a full size down? I am currently planning to go half-size down.

@Bulatik85 Sorry, for being unclear, I don't mean a whole size. Half a size is probably the right move.

had to ask my friend to make the order, since the taxfree limit is 1000EUR per month. if I am buying something over the limit I have to pay +20% tax…  :o but not a big problem to organize workaround.

                    No 12 or 12 1/2 correct? I figure I asked.

Thought I'll make a quik head to head comparison. The Build 5 I have since 3 month, the TBWE-PO is worn only a week. Maybe this helps someone who is undecided which one to get?

With the grey card I tryed to get the colors as close as possible.

Sorry @Bulatik85, but I don't know what to tell you, besides from the obvious, like design, height and the different toe. But I weighed them for you, both are size 9, Build 5 2489g vs. the TBWE-PO 2204g. Other than that, size wise they fitted the same when new, for me personal snug, almost tight at the instep with little room at the heel. After three month the Build 5 has gotten wider at the instep, I could even tighten the buckle one hole, but just leave it like that. Other than that, hmmm, I do not feel the weight difference while wearing, but I feel the difference in height, but that's not a negative or positive, they both will feel comfortable, the TBWE-PO ins't broken in yet.

This isn't meant to be rude Bulatik, not at all, and please forgive me when it sounds like that, but to me this isn't rocket science, don't know what else to write. Both are outstanding boots which I will love to wear!

I was just wondering if burlap version is more soft and break in easely…(for example).

As for bulid 5, how long does it take you to break them in? I have weared my boots one day... now have some painful read bubbles(dont know correct word) around the heels. Not too much. I usually have them with new shoes. Will wait when they would be healed.

Never had engeneer boots before or any boots that need to be broken in.[emoji848]

@Bulatik85, you need to be patient about that, it will take a couple weeks. You shouldn't over do it with great amount of walking when new. This way you only get the blisters you already have, and yes, give them a break now.

To me there is no difference in the leathers, both have the same stiffness when new.

                                          Thank you for advise.
I have bought some stickers which I need to stick to the heel as protection and blisters treatment.

                                          One more stupid question.
What exactly mean - breaking boots in?
As i have told before I have never had a boots that needed to be broken in.

Does it mean that with some wear the sole is bended many times and became softer and more easy to bend. And more comfortable to wear the boot.
And the same with the leather.

How to understand that breaking in process finished?

Sorry in advance, if the question is super stupid[emoji849]

That’s pretty much it. The leather in the midsoles, counter and vamp all soften and mould to the shape of your foot. It’s done when the boot is comfy and you no longer have blisters from wearing them.
