that danty, i mean that danite sole i've never been a fan of either, but that's just cause they remind me of either golf shoes or shoes you use to plug holes in your lawn, of course horses for courses or whatever the heck folks say.

just to be clear, nice score finn. your footwear game has pretty much every base covered

Normally I might agree about the shininess of the leather, but I think the natural midsole dresses it down a bit, as do perhaps the brown laces.  and once the shell starts getting worn it will be perfect…

now all my vibergs have got the dainite sole. if i ever cop another pair, i´m def. looking to go with a different sole on them...just for the variety in the shoe closet!

and you´re right, needed some boots for office wear and all that mess...got that covered now!
might need to find a pair of black leather laces to go with them though!

Wow, totally unlined! Those will crease like crazy then, which will be awesome. Also, the cordovan will get much less shiny with wear.

Curious what you guys think about brown cotton laces on black boots.  You see them often on White's where they are supplied standard, and at first I didn't like them, but I don't know after a while I started getting used to it, and seeing them on Rafa's here made me wonder again if I might give them a try on my new black HH's.

Something about the contrast in color, but also the contrast between such plain laces and a well-constructed black boot that makes me like it more than I expected…

well tbh. i actually quiet like the look…breaks up the "seriousness" of an actual serious looking pair of boots (if that makes any sense at all ^^). but for "office use" i´d def. go with the all black look imo. if worn with denim, brown laces are a nice contrast imo.

I don't like black and brown together. Black shoes and brown belt, etc… I'd just do black laces personally.

black and brown can go very well together, its all about textures and materials imo. brown suede boots with black denim is dope. in this case though, cuz theyre shiny, id opt for black laces!

actually i couldn´t give a flying f^ck since i just received these today and all that i know is that i am happy as all hell…damn, even if they´d have came with no laces at all, still i would have posted pics!

I like the black laces better, but mostly just because I like the lace color to match the shoe color, not just a black v. brown thing.

The dainite soles look nice with that build, but in general I'm not a fan of dainite.  My pair is slippery as hell; commando soles are much better.

All that said those are beautiful boots, Finn.
