That turquoise station wagon is rad!

Last weekend I loaded the bike and headed up island to start the Vancouver Island 1000. It’s mostly an off road route and gets to some very beautiful and remote places. I ended up camping across the lake from Zeballos after a great day of riding. Surprised to wake up to almost freezing temps. I’ll chip away at it this summer and hope to have it completed by the end of the season.

@Denman-John Hell yes, this looks like a proper adventure! I'd definitely eat gravel on those twisties though, i'd never resist the urge to dirt-track drift that. Setup too perfect.
-
@WhiskeySandwich Thanks man! This bike is definitely fun in the dirt, but need to get engine guards before any real hooliganism. Loving it so far!

@Denimhead-0 Leaning into it at The Asbury Park Circuit.
Had to add the song… -
@Jett129 Great pic

Anyone have any recommendations, comments and or gripes about the Simpson Ghost Bandit Motorcycle helmets?
Thinking of buying one.
Cheers
-
I think @Denimhead-0 just picked up a new Simpson helmet (or has one)…
-
I have a couple of Simpson helmets (both the Ghost Bandit in White and a Mod Bandit in Carbon). They are the best. I’m a big fan and I think that I get a better fit with the Ghost Bandit. Carbon looks pretty sick, but I think it may not be worth the additional cost.

Yep, recently picked up the M30 Bandit, slipline. Best helmet I have ever had, would rank over my previous Shoei.
-
@kbpisme I agree with u about the exposed carbon probably not worth the extra coin. Cheers for the reply

Not a street bike but I ride motocross. Want to get into street riding eventually but I already have so many hobbies lol

Looking for a simple sat nav for my bike, one i can clip on when needed and looked at the Beeline Moto....anyone have any experience with this device?
-
@bryaneidins70 had to have a Google to see what that was. I’ll have more of an in depth look later on as I’m in to anything to do with 2 wheels. Personally, I run a quad lock set up and use Waze on my IPhone. My Harley has a USB charger on it so I keep it charged as I go.

Thousands of bikes for the annual freedom run today in Illinois -
@Rustygate37 I could use my phone and the beeline pairs to the phone. I've used quadlocks on my pushbikes in the past... was just trying to avoid having my phone clipped to the motorcycle.
