Got surprised with a free ticket to see Arcade Fire. Not playing dress-up despite their dictate for this tour. This will be my first exposure to Reflektor material.

Free, and the section we were assigned to was closed so we got a nice upgrade.

Well you're in for a treat. They're tighter and have more sophistication/effects/etc now than they used to and still have a raw energy and vitality. They have evolved, but not lost their touch. I haven't even listened to Reflektor and it was cool to go in blind.

The only downside was the venue's arena scale and horrendous acoustics. Any show here is hopelessly muddy.

Sucks re: the acoustics, but no complaints, right? Tough to beat free AND upgraded.

I'm actually a big fan of Reflektor. What were your thoughts?

The album really grew on me (as you said, they "evolved"). It is definitely a departure from The Suburbs, but an enjoyable one.

Just got it this week and I am in love with it. Giles, Paula and Winchy were kind enough to put in a group effort to bring it in from Japan for me. At the sale price as well. Can't say enough about the customer service
